Kabran Clark has been with CCYL for 3 years. He learned of CCYL through our very own Donnie Brown. Kabe as he likes to be called, attends the St. Paul’s School where he also plays football. Kabe was introduced to lacrosse before he came to Charm City but has honed in on his skills over the past two years.
When Kabe was asked what he enjoys about playing lacrosse with CCYL, he responded, ”I love playing lacrosse with some of my friends that I do not get a chance to play with since they are on other teams and go to other schools”.
Kabe’s parents feel that CCYL has provided opportunities to him that would not have been available to him otherwise. From the camps, clinics, award ceremonies, and getting the opportunity to play in a tournament in Seattle with the Whales Lacrosse program have broadened his horizons.
Kabe’s parents also tell us that CCYL has helped him improve in his academics. Thru CCYL, Kabe has realized how having your academics in order will open up more opportunities for him as a student athlete.
We appreciate the opportunities and relationships that CCYL provides for Kabran as well as knowing that the organization is helping to grow and provide access to the game of Lacrosse within Baltimore.
The coaches and volunteers show Kabe examples of the love of the game and how the strong bonds thru the sport can bring lifelong relationships. These examples and experiences are CCYL are Priceless
